Tac City Bolts - MySport

Just 2 recent reviews of some of the more budget friendly "M193" on the market. First up is the PMC X-TAC M193. It is a touch shy of meeting the velocity spec at least with the uppers I'm using.

It's accuracy was on par for M193; 2-3MOA at 100 yards. Our second subject is from BPS (made in Turkey). It again fell just shy of the velocity spec, but it in turn showed us groups under 2MOA at 100 ... So far, TAC has been pretty atrocious in my WOA 20" Predator barrel.

tac city bolts, MP518 (Staball Match) routinely gets me under 1", but TAC has been more like 1.5-2.5" groups. Before writing off TAC altogether: Is it more accurate at lower velocities? Most of my loads have been pretty hot, but maybe it likes running a little slower? I've tried 77/69/52 SMKs, 77gr Barnes Matchburners, 75gr Hornady BTHP, and ... PMC’s 62 grain X-TAC ammunition is loaded in brass cases that have the annealing iris still visible.

tac city bolts, The 62 grain projectile has a copper jacket construction with a lead core and a steel insert in the ogive. The tip of the bullet is painted green. The case mouth is taper crimped into the cannelure of the bullet and the case-mouth is sealed with asphalt sealant. PMC X-TAC 62 grain Green Tip 5.56 LAP > Ammunition > AR15.COM I've had good success with X-Tac. I generally like it. PMC bronze is a bit lightly loaded, but has still functioned well for me.
